Dreamfall: TLJ. I’m rubbish at it and that’s ok.

In my very overdue post on my website, I take a bash at writing about a game. Say whaaaaat? Click the image below and let me know if you think it’s something I should do again…

I’m back!

I’m back!

I’m ashamed to be in the pile of bloggers who post about their travels once then forget about it. Whilst writing hasn’t been far from my mind, I’ve been busy getting myself a job and Norwegian residencey so now that those have been ticked off the list, I’ve brushed the dust of bad blogging off my knees and am getting back into the swing of things.

Once I’ve stopped being so WordPress-illiterate, I’ll get an email subscription on my website but for the meanwhile, I’ll be linking to it from here.

Thanks as always for reading and I hope you enjoy.

A quickie on language.

I’m trying to move my lovely readers over to my website, so if you’re one of them please check out my latest post on language:

Rule, Britannia?

Patriotism is not my best asset. My nearests and dearests will know that I still get the British National Anthem confused with Rule, Britannia! and that I was embarassed to be seen with the new Firefly beverage in Oslo: choosing between the tantalising taste of Bramley Apple & Ginger and parading the Union Jack was a genuine predicament for me. Subsequently, it came as a surprise when I felt my ego deflate alongside with the vision of swanning into Norway and being given a job on behalf of my British accent and encyclopedic knowledge of tea.

Read the rest of the article in the link below. It’s a step-by-step guide to moving from the UK to Norway and it’s a must-read if you thought it’d be as easy as I did 😉

For the students among you…

Check out my latest article on HerUni, in which I give five reasons why Autumn is the new Summer:

Smile, Summer Isn’t Over

All About Norway

While I’m waiting for the paint to dry on my new website, I want to find out what you want to read about Norway. However weird or wonderful the request, let me know here –> About Norway

I’ll be back soon!

Hello all,

I hope the weather is treating you well this Summer, wherever you are in the world! I’ve been absent from here as graduating from Uni, moving to Norway and trying to find a job has been pretty time-consuming. On that note, I’m in the process of setting up a shiny, new website which will document the triumphs and pitfalls of moving to Norway and the process of learning a new language and settling in.

So I’ll be back with a website soon!

Fagerstrand, which translates to ‘Beauty Beach’, is where I’m currently staying. A small, traditional village to the south of Oslo.
